DUBAI: The Iraqi army destroyed two Daesh bases on Sunday after it launched a large-scale military operation northeast of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala governate, Saudi state-news agency SPA reported.
An Iraqi military source confirmed this occured during the “Wadi Thlab” operation, which combed large areas in order to track and eliminate Daesh cells.
